We are proud to have participated in the VCÖ Mobility Award 2024, which focused on the topic “Improving Mobility Sustainably”.
This competition, organized by the VCÖ in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology and ÖBB, is Austria’s largest award for eco-friendly mobility and sustainable freight transport. With 383 projects submitted, it’s inspiring to see the incredible work happening in sustainable mobility!

What is AI-CENTIVE about?
Our project focuses on using AI-powered incentives to encourage sustainable mobility behavior and reduce CO2 emissions. AI-CENTIVE helps promote greener transportation options such as cycling, walking, and public transport by analyzing mobility patterns and predicting optimal sustainable choices. Through the development of a Mobility Knowledge Graph and AI-driven prediction models, we aim to support Austria in reaching its climate goals by fostering eco-friendly transportation behavior.
Motivation for the Future Results
Although we didn’t advance in the competition, this experience has energized us to keep pushing forward. We’ve already achieved key milestones, including the development of our AI-CENTIVE Dashboard, which analyzes mobility data and provides insights into how transportation choices impact sustainability. We are excited about the future and look forward to achieving even more progress in the months ahead.
